Mateusz Pawełczyk1991

(Born in 1991) Visual artist, painter, and illustrator, he holds a PhD in Fine Arts. He graduated with distinction in Painting from the Faculty of Art at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa (UJD). In 2024, he earned his PhD in Fine Arts from the University's Doctoral School. Since October 2024, he has served as Vice Dean for General Affairs at the Faculty of Art of Jan Długosz University. His artistic practice focuses on contemporary painting and figurative drawing, exploring themes of human relationships, memory, and individual experience. His work is characterized by an introspective narrative, the use of portrait and self-portrait motifs, and a conscious dialogue with the tradition of painting. His artistic achievements include numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, as well as extensive curatorial and teaching activities.
