Ireneusz Jankowski

Visual artist, educator, and cultural animator. He received his artistic education at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (now the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk), graduating in 1986. He also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw in 2000. In his artistic practice, Ireneusz Jankowski focuses primarily on the language of geometry. Geometric abstraction represents the culmination of his creative exploration, which began with the transformation, analysis, and synthesis of natural landscapes and urban cityscapes.
